More than 184 Truman Heartland donors have created scholarship funds to help students follow their dreams and work toward a brighter future.

Truman Heartland awards scholarships to students based on criteria set in partnership with donors to support students pursuing a variety of educational goals. Since 1982, Truman Heartland has awarded more than $6.65 million in scholarships. For 2023-2024, we awarded more than 400 scholarship awards totaling more than $784,000 to area students. The majority of our scholarships support students from Eastern Jackson County or students at local schools and universities.
