Senior year is an exciting, yet busy time where students finish their high school career and prepare for their post secondary plans. This page has a lot of information about the various activities and deadlines that happen during senior year.
Obligations
Before graduation there are several things that seniors should do including the following:
- Be sure their 20 hours of community service is completed
- Turn in baby pictures for the senior slide show
- Turn in senior quote (usually in January)
- Turn in senior superlatives (usually in January)
- Apply for scholarships (local deadline is usually mid February)
- Turn in their seating request for graduation
- Complete their senior exit survey
- Turn in uniform and other obligations for sports in applicable (some sports end after graduation so there are exceptions to this)
- Complete finals for all their classes
Senior Exit Survey
All seniors must complete the exit survey which is emailed to your school email account. Surveys can be emailed to the guidance office beginning of April and May.
Senior Awards Night
The date for Senior Awards Night is still TBD.
Baccalaureate
Baccalaureate for the Class of 2026 is still TBD.
Senior Videos Information
Submit at least two baby/toddler pictures and then, at least, two senior/current pictures. Each senior gets two slides one for baby/toddler pictures and one for senior/current pictures. The due date for these photos is December 20th.
Deadlines for submitting pictures for graduation slideshow:
Deadline for submitting (2) baby pictures and (2) senior pictures is December 20.
Please send two baby or toddler photos and two current photos. The slideshow will be shown in the auditorium as guests arrive for graduation. Photos should be emailed to [email protected].
If you are graduating at the end of the semester, please send your photos as soon as possible. If we do not receive them, your PowerSchool photo will be used instead.
Final Transcript
Seniors should have a final transcript sent to the institution they will be attending that reflects their final semester grades and that they graduated from high school.
